FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does C.A.R.E. provide?
Dogs that are brought into the CARE foster program typically come from local animal shelters or owner surrender situations.

Dogs live in a foster home where they get love, attention, and socialization. Our fosters work on house training, crate training, and basic obedience training. The dogs are given time to adjust to a home environment before they are adopted into their new home. Our primary objective is to make a good match with the adopting family and the dog.

C.A.R.E. takes care of the following:
* An initial health exam from one of our partner veterinarians
* Spaying or neutering
* Microchip & registration
* Fecal check
* Vaccinations updated (rabies, DHPP if needed)
* Providing a C.A.R.E. ID tag
* Post adoption follow-up & assistance with questions the new owners may have

Depending on the dog’s health and age, other medical procedures or medication may be required to ensure we do our part to ensure the dog is healthy at the time of adoption.

What kind of pet can I find through C.A.R.E.?
You’ll get a new family member. We have a variety of healthy puppies and dogs that are available for adoption. All our pets are spayed or neutered, current on their shots, and have been checked by a veterinarian.
How much is your adoption fee?
Dog and puppy adoption fees vary by dog. Fees start at $300.00. Our adoption fees pay for the animal’s vet care and food. Additionally, there is a two-week money-back return period with every adoption. A service charge will apply to those needing to return animals during the 14-day return period.
