Meet Mike. He is a special little guy. His life started out in an unfortunate way as his prior owner neither cared for him or was ever very kind to Mike. This has scarred him in some ways so he is not so trusting of most men. He will need a patient and kind person; one who is willing to give Mike space when he needs it and love when he asks for it. He is not a dog who needs a lot of attention; he is actually a very low maintenance little fellow.

Mike is crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn’t seem to mind cats either. He is calm and quiet for the most part. Some of his favorite things to do is go for walks in the neighborhood, sit on your lap in the evening watching TV (he sleeps of course), traveling in the car, hanging with other dogs, burying himself under towels or blankets, and chewing on hair (yours not his). He is a smart dog and a good listener.
Mike comes when called and follows routines very well once he knows them.

Mike is 1 to 2 years old and weighs about 5lbs. He is in good health. He is microchipped , up to date on vaccines, neutered and Heartworm tested negative. He recently had a dental and his rear dew claws were removed.
